1. Our commitment
1.1 Associations use Melora Connect to serve every one of their members, so it needs to work for people with disabilities, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or voice control. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
1.2 This is a goal, not a claim of conformance. We have not yet had an independent audit (Section 3).
2. What we have done
- A “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page, so keyboard users can bypass navigation.
- Visible focus outlines on links, buttons and form controls when using a keyboard.
- Respect for your device’s “reduce motion” setting: animations are reduced or removed.
- Screen reader announcements for status and error messages, so changes are read out without moving focus.
- Light and dark themes, which follow your device setting by default.
- Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
3. Known limitations
- We have not had an independent accessibility audit, and we do not run automated accessibility checks on every change yet. Some pages may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Colour contrast has not been measured across every page and theme.
- Some complex screens, such as charts, calendars, drag-and-drop tools and the event page builder, may be harder to use with assistive technology.
- Payment forms are provided by Stripe, and in-app chat by our chat provider. Their accessibility is managed by those companies.
4. Content that Associations add
4.1 Associations add their own content, such as event pages, emails, documents and images. They are responsible for making that content accessible, for example by adding descriptions to images and providing accessible documents. We try to make that easy, and we welcome suggestions.
5. Feedback and help
5.1 If something in Melora Connect is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email support@meloraconnect.com or call (571) 290-2703. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use if any.
5.2 We will reply within 2 business days and, where we cannot fix the problem quickly, help you get the information or complete the task another way.
5.3 If the problem is with an Association’s own content, such as an event page or document, we will pass your feedback to the Association.
6. How we assess accessibility
6.1 This statement is based on a review of how Melora Connect is built by our own team. Last reviewed: September 24, 2026. We will update it after an independent audit.
